Come and join us
It is easy to join the WeatherBlur community. We welcome classes from grades 3-12 anywhere in the world. Our resources are written for grades 5-8, but you can adapt these for any grade.
WeatherBlur participation is based on a ‘one educator and their class’ model. That means for one low fee you and up to 50 students in your class can participate in WeatherBlur for an entire 12 months from the day you register.
If you have more than 50 students, then you have to pay a second fee.
If you have additional teachers at your school, then each teacher has to register to participate.
All our communication is with the teacher via emails. We do not email students.
The fee covers full access to the WeatherBlur site including access to the training and classroom materials, the ability to pose questions and make comments, be involved in investigations, see and use all the data entered, participate in the periodic live scientist panels, and more.
Beta Year - 2021
In 2021 we are testing out a whole new set of teacher resources and support materials, and we are offering teachers to join during the calendar year for a lower fee of US$500 per teacher/class.
