05/21/2021 - Comments: What is great about this investigation is the number of measurements you could take. The comparison of two nearby schools with one far away led to interesting findings. Your Tuva graphs are a lot better than mine - you could teach me about that! Indoor air quality has been in the news this school year with the pandemic so we are now more aware of the air around us and how masks can filter out invisible particles, living or not, in the air to keep us healthy. Science and safety go hand-in-hand. Congratulations on doing real science!
DETAILS05/21/2021 - Comments: Your work is really inspiring. I have been working from home and bought a bird feeder myself to compliment 2 bird houses in my yard. Based on refilling my feeder (a lot!) I know you have been busy too. Giving the bird houses away is fantastic - you will help spread happiness and with that comes better human health and more birds. What a great combination. Congratulations!
DETAILS05/21/2021 - Comments: The plastics investigations are really significant. I probably mention how common plastics are in our environment and food to someone at least once a week as a result of your collective work. Recycling recently resumed in my city after a break due to the coronavirus. Now I really notice how much plastic is used for packaging. I feel a little better to be able to recycle it but I wonder if we can reduce it so there is less chance it can get in the environment and food supply. Knowledge is power - congratulations!
